Nuthatch Bird Feeders.....are our nuts and seeds feeders. Nutchatches diet consist of nuts and seeds from trees such as hickory, black spruce, maple buds, cypress, and fir that they forage in the wild. They love acorns, beechnuts and pine nuts, too. Nuthatches will forage for seeds from fields that are left from farms such as corn, sunflower, wheat, sorghum, and oats. Seeds are not the nuthatches only diet in the fall and winter, they will eat various wild berries such as elderberry, Virginia creeper and plants such as redmaids, clover and mustard. When picking a feeder for Nuthatches, they prefer to feed from a suspended feeder, suet feeder or a screened feeder, often hanging upside-down as they eat. They most enjoy striped or black-oil sunflower seed, suet mixtures, peanut butter, peanut kernels, nutmeats, baked goods, and most berries.
We have sorted our Nuthatch Bird Feeders for your convenience. If you do not find the feeder you are looking for in this category, please go to Bird Feeders to see our full selection.
