Purple Martins.... gather and live in the same purple martin houses year after year. Their main diet is mosquitos. Many times thier young will come back to the house they were born in the next year to start a brood of their own. Therefore, a colony of purple martins may take a few years to build, but once established, they will return year after year. There is nothing like having a full martin house with graceful gliding Purple Martins visiting and raising their young.
