Woodlink Flicker Woodpecker House is made from high quality cedar to last a long time. Flicker Wood Peckers like to build thier nests in old and decaying trees. A bag of cedar chips is included to spread on the bottom of the house to simulate crumbling bark so that the Flicker Woodpecker will see your premade house as natural. The sloping roof will keep your Flicker family nice and dry and is built with a ventalization port to keep the young family from over heating. The front door opens for easy viewing and cleaning. A ladder on the interior allows young Flicker Woodpeckers to exit the nest easily when they are ready. Flicker houses should be mounted high up on a tree or post near water.
